Job Title: Security Architect
Location: Abu Dhabi
Job Overview:
As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing security systems within an organization’s IT infrastructure. You will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data.
Responsibilities:
- Security Infrastructure Design: Design and develop security architectures for cloud and on-premises systems that align with business objectives.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize remediation and mitigation efforts.
- Security Policies and Procedures: Establish and enforce security policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Security Testing: Oversee security testing activities (e.g., vulnerability assessments, penetration testing) and drive remediation of identified risks.
- Incident Response Planning: Develop and maintain incident response plans to address security breaches effectively.
- Security Awareness: Educate and train employees on security best practices and promote security awareness across the organization.
- Emerging Security Trends: Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to continually improve security posture.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of network security architecture, protocols, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS).
- Cloud Security: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing cloud-based infrastructures.
- Security Tools: Familiarity with security tools such as Firewall, NAC, SIEM, DLP, endpoint protection, and encryption technologies.
- Compliance: Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and experience implementing compliance controls.
- Risk Management: Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a security architect role or similar position.
